The #JamalNation program was designed to support students who could use some help getting ready for those milestones in their lives. Here at Jamal Nation, we believe that even in the most intimidating life situations you should look and feel like you are ready to conquer the world! As a senior in high school, we want to give a student the opportunity to go to prom feeling their best, and we want to support a senior in college in preparing them for job interviews!

 

 

The Prom 

Prom is one of the most exciting times in a high school student’s career and while parent’s do all they can to prepare students for college and sometimes prom expenses just are not in the budget.  Jamal Nation wants to help alleviate some of the financial pressure for (2) Chicago area students.  Jamal Nation will cover the cost of hair, nails, make-up and dress/tuxedo for (2) deserving students.  If you are or know a Chicago area student who you believe would be a perfect fit for our #JamalNation prom program please have them send a copy of their high school transcript, write a 200 word essay on what being confident means to them and include your prom day and time, send that information to coilconfidence@JamalNation.com. 

The Interview

Preparing for the interview world can be quite scary. You’re graduating from college or high school, you’re applying for jobs and quite frankly you’re freaking out about the whole situation.  At Jamal Nation, we believe that even in the most intimidating life situations you should be confident and sometimes that confidence comes from your appearance.  If you or someone you know needs assistance getting prepared for a job interview and they are in the Chicago area please send a copy of your transcript and write a 200 word essay explaining the importance of confidence in the workplace to coilconfidence@JamalNation.com.  Jamal Nation will select (1) graduating senior, must be graduating in May or December, every year to help prepare for an interview in the Chicagoland area.  Jamal Nation will cover the costs for hair, nails, make-up and the cost of interview attire.
